Does the GeForce 8800 GTS work with non-directX 10 games.?

I want to buy this graphics card, because it is sweet, but I just wanna make sure that this will work with all games released up until now. I want to play company of heroes and other sweet new games at good quality

this is on windows XP as well, not vista

Yes it will absolutely run non-DirectX 10 games, no problem at all.
