questions about tanning?

Question

These are probably really dumb questions but i have never gone to a tanning bed before and before I go I want to know some stuff.
1. What do you wear when you tan? I have heard some say nothing and others say their underwear.
2. Can you go tanning while on your period?
3. For someone who is really pale how long should I go in for and what products (like tanning lotion) should I use?
4. Do I need to wash off my makeup before going or does it play an effect?

So i think those are all of my questions. Sorry if their dumb.

1-you can go tanning in a bathing suite, underware, or naked...wich i would not advise because there was a big epidimic at my salon with people getting something from the bed...i would advise underwear if you feel comfortable

2. Yes you can go tanning wwhile on your period.

3. If you are pale go for 5 min in the lowest bed at the longest..you should always were the goggles they give you and you can even wear a simple sunscrean to prevent burning and you will still get a tan

4. I never wear makeup to the tanning bed..you may break out...always wear a lotion with a bit of sunscrean on your face when tanning(you will still get tan, just prevent premature aging)

Your questions are not dumb and if you have any other questions they employees should be able to answer them..

1. you can wear whatever you want, underwear, swimsuit, or just go nude.
2. of course you can, but just make sure that if you wear pads you wear like underwear or something, and if you wear tampons make sure that arent going to leak or anything, cause thats just gross
3. well you'll probablly wanna use a high pressure bed because they do have such a low burning rate, and the time depends on the bed and whehter or not they have new bulbs. but you definftly wanna start at a lower time and work your way up. and as far a lotions go it all depends on what you like, but use an acclerator, thats gonna help build your tan.
4. yea you really should was off your makeup just because alot of make up does have an spf, and so withouth it you'll get a lot better color

i have an answer to your first question. most people feel the most comfortable in a bathing suit or just a bra and underwear. yes, some people do wear nothing which is another choice if you dont want any tan lines. just remember not to go to the tanning bed every day because it can have some serious health risks that i am sure you are already aware of. hope this helps!

1. Some people go tanning with nothing on and some people go in with a bra and underwear, you choose what you want to do.
2. Yes you can, if your flow isnt to heavy and you have a tampon on obviously.
3. You can buy tanning lotion at the place and ask them what kind would be good for you and start your minutes lower and then work them up once oyu start getting darker and everything
4. Yes, you will want to wash your make-up off before you go so you can get tan on your face, you wouldnt want your make-up to block it. lol.

3. start at 5 min. & gradually work your way up, as long as you`re not getting burnt...try an accelerator, or accelerator/bronzer combo...the accelerator will stimulate your skin`s melanin, allowing u to tan faster...a bronzer will give u immediate color while u wait for your own natural tan to develop

4. yes, because otherwise it might clog your pores and/or cause uneven tanning
