Is my boyfriend in denial or am I just plain old wrong. Also, who was better in their prime? and Who has the best shot at the HOF?

Yes and yes on the first two...Well, McNabb DID lead the Eagles to 4 straight NFC championship games...McNair didn't do the same with the Titans, but did lead them to the Super Bowl as well...and was a foot shoot of a Super Bowl win...actually it was Kevin Dyson that was about a foot short of the goal line to win the game...

On the HOF, McNabb right now has the better chance...When all is said and done, he is still with the Eagles, and McNair was basically shown the door by the Titans...classless Titans...so, HOF McNabb has the better chance based on that...

maybe

donovan mcnabb has had and will end up having a better career than steve mcnair.
He's got a stronger arm, and has worked w/ below avg WR's for the majority of his career. Freddy "Fed-Ex" mitchell was a joke.
pinkston is not NFL material, and some of the other guys he had in philly arent even playing anymore. TO screwed up the entire organization, and now his receivers r good.
lets see what he does this year

what does that even mean?

i think McNair was excellent and probably a little better

McNabb isnt terrible..........just not great........

i dont think either will make the Hall but McNabb has a better shot simply because he played in Philly and was more popular

unfortunately the Hall of Fame is often a popularity contest

I don't know about him becoming another McNair but I do think the Steve McNair has had the better career. Also I am not sure that either one is HOF material. Still time left though, strange things can happen.

No, he isn't. Unlike McNabb, Steve McNair was actually a really good QB. McNabb is one of the single most overrated players in the history of the NFL. All he is good for is missing WRs and getting hurt.

i think mcnabb still has 2 good years in him but mcnair gets hurt every season and continues to play throughout the pain and injuries that occur.

do donvan is not becoming another mcnair
mcnair broke every part of his body and .. he's a guy that can't even walk right now.
and neither of them has a best shot at HOF because they didn't win superbowls. maybe both of them were really close, but didn't taste it yet. and i think mcnabb is better in his prime. i seriously think mcnabb didn't even hit his prime yet. last year before his injury we saw a glimpse of his prime. if he kept it up for the next 16 weeks this year, dont be surprised if the eagles are up their
