I think they are within the realm of possible contenders to go all the way. Contrary to what other say Phillip Rivers is an up and coming start QB. (just needs time to blossom). The rest of the team is very very strong. LT being so great seems to make people think they have no other talent, but the other talent is what adds to the greatness of LT. The weak spot as I see it is defense, so if they can improve there, they have a shot at it.

No they wont. No matter how much talent they have they dont have the Coaching nor the upper management. They have an inexpierenced QB in Phillip Rivers thats why it was the Ladain show because they couldnt trust Rivers. Norv Turner has been a flop every where he has been a head coach, and he knows nothing about defense, thats why he didnt get the Dallas job. He is a great offensive coordinator but dosent have the mentallity to coach a whole team. Sorry Chargers you will miss out again...........

No, the San Diego Chargers won't win super Bowl XLVII. extremely, i don't think that the Chargers will additionally make the playoffs this upcoming season. i've got self assurance that the Chargers will end the 2012 season in third place in the AFC West branch, with a 9-7 checklist.

I would say yes. they are returning almost everyone from last year's 14-2 team. Provided that Merriman is not suspended again I could see them making a run through the playoffs; I think the team has learned a lot from last year's loss to the Patriots.

No they can't because Phillip Rivers could never win that game for them. as you saw with the patriots they went to him (even though LT was killing them all day) and he couldn't produce.

I think they have the potential but the only thing that is in the way is the New England Patriots, not to say that the Chargers is bad i am myself is the Charger's fan.

Maybe if they had kept Drew Brees. They should be a playoff team so they have a chance though.

no i dont think they will get that far bro they really got no one. a team cant just have a team with a great RB there not going to be good.

Yes, they can now. Shotenheimmer (sp?) is gone now, so they actually have a chance in the playoffs.
