Rudy Guilliani is running because he has a chance to win. He is a fiscal conservative but not a social one. The Republican base cannot support someone who is pro-choice, so what he is saying is basically to leave him out of it and let the courts decide and he is okay with whatever the outcome is. Yes, it is morally wrong. Life begins when cells start to split and keep splitting. We don't even put seeds in the ground just to cut them out in a week or two! As for as a middle road, thank God the U.S. Supreme Court ended partial birth abortion which was delivering the baby while at the same time crushing its skull and sucking its brains out! They had to do it this way because if the baby was already out, then it would be murder. 6 inches and a few minutes separates murder from legality. It is insanity I believe.

I think you can not give a #$%^ either way, even as a politiician. I have no problem with his statement.
I do think he's a pile of cow droppings who turned New York City into a Police State, shut down gay bars with the excuse that the tiny candles on tables are fire hazzards, and then went out in drag himself, let the police do whatever and kill whomever they want without any kind of repremand, and then was made a freaking "hero" for simply saying "remain calm" on the radio during 9/11, like noone else in his position would do that.
But as far as this apathy about the abortion issue, eh, that's fine.

I don't think it's a big deal issue to him. To be honest, yes there are significant worries about abortion, but there are more important worries to deal with. Iraq, health care, education. Let's fix the social ills so children can have a healthy future.

I have three children with disabilities. There is no way I would allow an institution to torture my babies. There are other methods. The school and the parents are the truly handicapped in this case. Between the teachers and the parents, children with disabilities can be helped and taught to act appropriately.

I doubt he'll ever have this ethical dilemma for himself, men can't get pregnant. You can ride the "won't affect me" road.
