I am a girl scout and i am 14. I do not think it is dorky or somthing...i still go to camp! lol so any opinions?

I think that it is cool...maybe there are some people who think of it as dorky, but they don't understand what Girl Scouting is. Just keep going, it will help you get into better colleges and succeed in life.

Older Girl Scouts (11-17) decide for themselves how to run their meetings and what to do with the money they raise selling cookies, so it's only as dorky as the girls in the troop. My personal experience has been that dorky girls quit scouting before they turn 11. For those really dorky girls that just want to chase boys and do drugs, Girl Scouting probably isn't for them.

By the definition above, I don't think the Girl Scouts are stupid, inept, or foolish. By definition, the GSA tries to make sure that girls are skilled, competent, and wise--or at least having fun! The stupid, inept, foolish ones are the ones who try to be cool by hanging around doing nothing and insulting the ones who are busy accomplishing things. As someone said on Oprah Winfrey's show, "Mediocrity always attacks excellence."
I was a Cadette Girl Scout at ages 12 and 13. I didn't continue in high school not because I'd outgrown the Scouts, but because high school had so many activities I enjoyed that I no longer needed the Scouts. However, if you enjoy Girl Scouting, keep it up!

Anyone who tells you it's dorky, well, when you get a scholarship for being a girlscout, then you can see who's dorky.

i would still do it while i can because once you get 15 16 it becomes very dorky somkeep doing it while you can

if it's something you like to do, don't care what other people think. in my opinion, once you're fifteen, quit because there are other great things you can do with your life lol.
