I also believe McCain will have a shot at the 2008 presidental election. It wont be easy at all but, he is ahead in 3 of the early primary voting states. All you have to do is keep spreading your reasoning on why he is such a outstanding candidate and you'll get the turnout from people. McCain will surprise everyone that has posted not in favor of him. Why wouldnt you want a knowledgeable war vet with great goals for america??
McCain if we stick together will win in 2008. Guiliani is to flip flopped and with being for abortions i just dont see most republicans voting for him.

Great question and you have a good taste in candidates.

No. He has too consistently backed Bush, and by 2008, absolutely everyone will be claiming they never supported Bush, but McCain's attachment to the clown will be too deeply imprinted on the public mind to be forgotten or dismissed. I predict Bush, if he does not get himself impeached, will leave the office in disgraced as the most unloved president in US history. McCain is his monkey boy; not the thing to be in the 2008 elections.

I agree with Timothy. He won't win the GOP ticket. He is all over the place on each issue, that he's pissing off the Republican base. The funny thing is, here in Arizona, he's NOT as popular as people think he is. He is routinely bashed on talk radio and in the papers, and does not receive the amount of respect and admiration as John Kyle does.

He is wasting his time. Our country is sick of Bush's war. We want out of a place we should never have been in the first place. McCain's endorsement of the war was his kiss of death. He won't win any primaries. He is a lost cause.

Its mc cain Guliani or Guliani Mc Cain. I prefer the former but we will get the latter more than likely on the Republican ticket.
