I'll answer this the way "The Rock" would answer this question: "IT DOESN'T MATTER!"
Barry Bonds has established himself as the greatest baseball player of our generation, whether you like it or not.
His accomplishments speak for themselves. Bonds has been voted to more All-Star teams has won more Gold Gloves and was MVP more than most players . Yet anytime Bonds' name is brought up in conversation the word "steroids" is mentioned before any of his great achievements.
Bonds has been the lightning rod in the biggest sports scandal of the last fifty years. Steroids is part of professional sports (again, like it or not).
Barry Bonds' achievements are remarkable regardless of whether or not he has used steroids even once. Players take steroids in order to greatly increase muscle mass. Taking steroids will not improve your ability to hit a baseball. Steroids will not help you hit for a higher average. It won't help you get on base or score a bunch of runs. Steroids certainly won't stop you from striking out.
Again, it just doesn't matter. Barry is and always will be one of the greatest.

Full disclosure: I am a SF Giants season ticket holder so you can discount my response from the beginning.
I like watching Barry Bonds hit a baseball. I like the splash hits. I hate the fact that he gets intentional walks. I love the fact that he stole 2nd base on Opening Day, proving that his knee is ready to play.
I don't think he is a pleasant person. I've never met him. I have a few friends who have spent a little time with him outside of baseball and they think he's okay.
So, I don't know Barry Bonds, the person. I just like to watch him play baseball.
No Barry has never tested positive for steriods. His change in muscle mass is unusual and is very suggestive of steriod use. His ability to continue to play in spite of that potential drug use is surprising and is not consistent with steriod use. (He should be a mess by now, like Conseco and McGwire.)
By all accounts, his off season workout program is intense. Whether this has made him strong, or simply delays the onset of post-steriod injuries, is debatable.
In "leaked testimony," Barry is alleged to have used "the clear" which he claims to have understood to be a nutritional supplement, rather than a steriod. Maybe it was a steriod, maybe not. No one has ever proved anything. If it was a steriod, did Barry take it knowingly, or was he naive? Can you see in his heart to know the truth? (Several reporters claim to know.)
I'll go with "B." I won't bash him. I'll enjoy watching him play baseball. I won't take ESPN's word for anything. And, you can keep your urine samples. Even if they do prove something, I don't have the analytical equipment to help you.

No hes never been proven of taking steroids, a or any performance encaning drugs. The only thing was a hormone growth which WASNT illegal when he was taking them, but later came up on the "bad" list. He only took them for his knees, and elbow. But with all the contraverse he lucky to still be hitting strong. The only proof is of one man, that never had any proof. How would feel if I said that Hank Aaron took performance enhancing drugs, but had no proof to back it up. It would seem kinda dum. Also Bonds shoildive passed the record LONG ago, beacuse he has 600+ more walks then Hank Aaron, with 200+ being intentional.

Y'know, for all the hoopla and huffery surrounding Bonds, I never once, not ever, had thought about the very specific topic of "Barry Bonds' urine samples". And life was good that way.
Now that's gone, ruined. Thanks, thanks a lot.
