Find the equation of the line L between the points Q(1, 4, 6, 7) and P(1, 3, 1, 2).

This is a line in 4space, but the principle remains the same.

Calculate the directional vector v, for the line L.

v = PQ = Q - P = <1, 4, 6, 7> - <1, 3, 1, 2> = <0, 1, 5, 5>

L = P + tv
L = <1, 3, 1, 2> + t<0, 1, 5, 5>
where t is a scalar ranging over the real numbers
