How can you check the history of the house you are going to live in?

My family and I are moving to a new home and I was wondering what happend in the home. Like if it is going to be haunted or not.

There are no records of activity in houses as such, other than what you may be able to find by checking crime records in the area. That surely will not be an easy task. I have had clients who desperately wanted such information, and they resorted to going door-to-door until they found a neighbor who had lived there since the property they wanted was constructed. The neighbor graciously informed them that nothing untoward had occurred in the house. Was the neighbor truthful ? Who knows ?
