Actually, there is a cultural shift nowadays away from the idea of "women's studies". It is being replaced in scholarship and in the intellectual communities with what is really the more suitable name of "gender studies". Yahoo should be encouraged to follow the trend - you are right in pointing this out.

What would be the point? We all come here to post anyway. None of those men are really interested in mens studies they just want something they can complain about. Makes them feel manly.

I hope it can be done, because I think the men deserve it and they need a place to post.
In case Yahoo doesn't implement a Men's Studies, we should start to inundate them with requests to change this forum to Gender Studies.

I just use Woman's Studies since men are always hanging out anyways. I'll ask a question like:
"Mens studies: Why do men use so much toilet paper?"
"Mens studies: How do men show emotions?"

Maybe create a petition and have everyone send an email to yahoo answers requesting it once a week.

Find the Suggestion Board and post a message there. I did regarding "Gender Studies," but that was, sadly, fruitless. (Maybe you could try that again?)
