hi, im a 16 year old gay boy, and im on the tennis team, and i am in love with a friend whos also on the team (look at my other questions to know mroe about it cuz ive asked a lot) so, yesterday at tennis practice while coach was drilling the whole team, we were at the back of the line and he tugged my shirt and grabbed my arm and said "eso es gay" and looked me in the eyes when he said it. then, he got a ride home with me and when we dropped him off, he squeezed my hand as i put it out to him, then looked back and smiled at me when he was goin to his house. today i sent him a text message in spanish that said "if i win my tennis match today, im going to give u a big fat kiss." he then called me an hour later to wish me good luck. and that he might come watch me play again 2maro cuz im still alive in the tourney and hes not. hes not going to prom, and has never had a gf (he says his parents wont let him date until hes 21) he touches me alot and smiles at me..is he gay/should i ask him

Well, from the details u put in ur question, he is without a doubt, gay. Even though im not gay, any it just sound like he is. Unless hes just messing with u. But if u havent told him ur gay, then I guess he may be flirting with u. If u ask him, do it somewhere private where he doesnt feel pressured, and even if he doesnt tell u right away, respect his privacy about his sexuality. But most guys dont hold hands and look each other in the eyes, so I say go 4 it.

Well, sounds to me that he is gay, because most straight guys don't touch hands and look into other guy's eyes and stuff like that. I mean, u could ask him just 2 b sure. Also, I don't know what gay guys have been told, but a person, especially another gay guy can sense another gay guy a mile away, and if he didn't want what u got, then he would stay AWAY from u. Chow

This shouldn't matter!
If he is gay and not tell you there is a good reason. The fact that your 16 and in hs alone is reason enough not to say anything. If he wants you to know his status as gay, straight or bi he will tell you. Do not go prying into his private life! This will only case tension between the two of you!
Keep in mind that some guys just act guy because they are natural feminine. It does not mean that they are gay.

I don't think it's best if you ask him yet because he may become defensive or not admit it even if he is. (Which I really think he is.) How long has this been going on for? I would suggest to continue flirting, and maybe try spending more time with him. It would probably be a good idea to come out to him, and then you could see his reaction. If he is gay too he would most likely then tell you. Don't worry too much because it really sounds like this will work out! Good luck! =)

Just say:
"Its OK, you know, if you're gay. Are you?"
And smile reassuringly at him.
If he says "yes", well, you have you're opening:
"Cool, I am too. Wanna go make fun of straights?"
If he hems and haws, then you have a decision to
make. If you've got guts, you say "Well, I hope so,
'cause I am and I'd feel pretty foolish if you weren't."
If you don't have guts, you just let him know that
if he decides he is, then its OK with you. Maybe
sometime later he'll approach you.
And of course, if he isn't gay, he'll say that he isn't
and perhaps ask you if you are off your rocker.
You then need to decide if you want to come out
to someone who at least says he is not gay, or not.
If not, you say something like "Wow - ok. I just
wondered where you were going with this..."

hm mm, well, seems to me that, if not gay, then he is at least interested in you. That said, he may just be a very friendly guy and may be just actin all silly when he calls u gay, then too, someone may have told him ur gay, and he wants to know for sure. Hell, tell him, he can't eat you up lil dude!
if he's not gay, but is a real friend, then he won't care anyway, and if he is gay, then, woof!

Ask him to go to the movies or something. While there, just be warm and friendly and see how he behaves when the two of you are out together.
If you're still confused after an outing like that, find a quiet time to ask him about it more directly.

Well its hard for other people to decide becasue we dont know him like you do. He sounds like he is pretty into you though. Maybe try telling him you are gay and see how he reacts. If your lucky you wont have to give him that big fat kiss because hell plant one on you. Good luck boy.

I have a lot of gay friends and I have seen through their experiences that it would be best just to ask him. It sounds like he is but you never know he could just be testing the waters. Just get him alone so you dont embarass him and gently ask him. that is the best way to find out.
