I am going to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji in about 5 weeks. My dad wants me to buy a cricket bat for him since he is a huge sports fan. About how much would a cricket bat cost and in what country would I have a better chance finding one?
(By the way...we won't use the bat....just for display but nothing cheap)

It can cost from $50.00 to well over 500.00 but if he is not a serious cricketer then under a hundred dollar bat should do just fine. I would buy it in Australia.

if u r going to australia and new zealand it would b better to take from australia as in australia cricket is more popular among the people than in new zealand. and price depends on the quality of the bat,weight,etc.

It depends on the quality of the wood used to make the bat mostly but a few other things will add to the price.
You can get something decent for between $100 and $200 Australian.

have a look in the sports shop there ... aus and new zealand are much the same prices.............there all different prices in bats.........
