About 2 years ago I moved from my old apartment(in colorado) and my old lanldlord said he would hold my stuff until I got settled. Now that I am settled(living in Nevada) I can't get in touch with him to make arrangements to pick my stuff up. What shall I do or what can I do?

For some reason, I do not think your old landlord thought it would take you two years to 'get settled'. After such a lengthy period of time, he can most probably consider your property as abandoned and dispose of it as he wishes. If you ever find the landlord, I suspect that is what you will hear. As far as any legal recourse, I have sincere doubts that you would retain have a basis upon which to bring litigation.

Next time, enter into a specific binding arrangement for the storage of your property, such as one offered by a storage unit, and pay for the storage. Then you can be assured it will be there when you return for it.
