Help with the Computer?

I have my popup blocker on but i still get popups so much. what can i do , and my computer is really slow. I want to kinda like start from new!.. can anyone help

If your Computer is running slow try these for starters :-
Run Disk Cleanup and Clean all Temp/Internet files. Scan your Disk for Errors by using the Scan Disk utility, Defragment your Hard Drive(if you have not done so) remove any programs you are not using or do not use anymore.
What Popup Blocker are you using ? Try Yahoo Toolbar works better. If you don't have Spybot and Adware go to http://www.download.com/3101-20-0-1.html?tag=pop.software and download and install these two programs and scan you PC for Adware,spyware, trojans etc and clean them up.

I am reasonably sure that by following the directions I have given above your computers speed will become faster and it will start running a lot smoother.
