It's always OK to cross-dress on Halloween, plus it's OK to cross-dress on any other day of the year too. Now, for Halloween, dress-up as either a school girl, maid, nurse or just a sexy girl and have fun seeing how many treats you can get.

Halloween is a great time to cross-dress. Cross dressing makes for a really good costume and it is a lot of fun to be the other sex for a day. I've done it several times and it's always been a lot of fun and a big hit at the party.
Some of my best costumes were:
A French Maid - French Maid costume from K-Mart (it was a real nice one for about $15), a long blonde wig, fishnet stockings, and a pair of really high heel shoes. Funniest thing was I got to work and a girl there was also dressed as a French Maid (nearly identical outfit). We went around all day saying we were twins. Get a girl to go with and dress in a formal suit as a Butler.

A sexy girl (or call girl possibly) - This was the funnest costume. I bought a black leather mini-skirt from ebay, same blonde wig & high heels from the French Maid outfit, shirt from a local thrift store, and lots of make-up.

A High School Cheerleader - bought an actual cheerleading outfit from a girl on Ebay. Start shopping early to find one you like in the right size though. Took me about 3 months to find mine but it's really cool. Get a girl to go with and dress as a football player.

Kelly Bundy (from Married With Children) - I stumbled across a short skimpy leather dress for real cheap. I bought it just for dressing up on Halloween. High heels and a blonde wig and a "Hello My Name is: Kelly Bundy" sticker. The dress was really tight and wow, hard to walk in. Drew an awful lot of attention too. But like all the others, lots of fun to dress up in for a day.

It is my personal opinion that it is always okay to crossdress, in fact I think it's rather sexy. However because social rules seem to relax a bit on Halloween it becomes not only okay but a great idea to cross dress. I can't really suggest anything not knowing what you look like, but celebrities are a great target . . . as are female archetypes, schoolgirl, nun, princess, etc. You might also go as Franken Furter from Rocky Horror. Whatever you choose to do have a great time and a happy Halloween!

When is it not okay?
My parents went as a group costume to a Halloween party a few years ago with a bunch of their friends and they all went as cross dressed Hutterites.
The men wore the Hutterite dresses with wigs and babushkas and the women wore black pants, plaid shirts, suspenders and drew on mustaches.
It looked great!

I would say yes. I was at a party one time and this guy dressed up as star wars princess leia. He had a cinnamon roll hair piece, and a big goatee. I still laugh at it, because he looked like Carl from ATHF with that outfit on. Just do it man, and live for the day.

Sure- that's what Halloween is all about- come as you aren't.
If you're going to dress as a women, go all out, like a 40's dame-tight dress, fishnet stockings, red lipstick. Or be a peppy cheerleader- full costume, pom poms and pigtails. Have fun!

I'd say yes: it's one of the few days where it's socially acceptable for the average man to dress up as a woman.
What do you want to do? Wear an evening gown? A bikini? A woman's business suit? Is there a female celebrity you admire that you'd like to imitate?

Yes it is just fine to cross dress because it only one day you can dress as whatever you want too.. ok well have fun as a women lol!!!!

Absolutely. Crossdressing is a must on halloween and you should consider being a movie star(such as Mae West) or a french maid or a sissy.

The best situation is when you pair off with a woman.. She can be Cinderella and you will be her Ugly Stepsister.
Or you and her can pretend to be twins - - she'll be the "good" twin and you'll be the "evil" twin.
Or the bride and groom... switched.
Or Alice in Wonderland and that rabbit who always checking his watch... "I'm late".
