I love all of those shows, so I know exactly what you would like! Medium is very good, as well as Ghost Whisperer, Veronica Mars, and of course Buffy re-runs. You would deffinately like the new show Heroes, as well. Heroes comes on NBC on Monday nights. It has a lot in common with those other shows in the sense that it is about people with special abilities. Its a shame that Charmed and Angel have ended...
But there are still other fantasy shows out there, don't worry!

You will love the following
Medium on Wednesdays on NBC
Ghost Whisperer on Fridays on CBS and
Blood Ties on Sundays on Lifetime TV.
All three carry similar themes
Medium sees dead people and the circumstances under which they die
Ghost Whisperer deals with ghosts who are lingering on earth for "unfinished business"
Blood Ties deals with demonology, voodoo, mythology and anything on the weird side of life. The main character is assisted mostly by a 480 year old vampire. Isn't that cool or what.

You might like the Medium. i've never watched the show myself, but the 3 other shows you mentioned were and are "hit" TV shows from the former WB, now CW, that tends to make shows that are more enticing to teens and young adults and cast with the "hotties" that tend to attract the young viewer...mmmmmmmmmm....Lois...mmmmmmmm....Lana...mmmmm...Piper....anyways, you get my point. and David Cubitt and Patricia Arquette aren't exactly appealing to younger crowds, and the same goes with any type of story lines. The Medium is a more adult oriented show compared to the other shows you like. If that's not a problem and you like that genre then you're good, but if you like the younger shows then you might get bored.

I like all those shows, but Medium is kind of boring. I definitely agree you would like Heroes. Many of the good writers who left Smallville are now on Heroes.

My Wife and I loved Buffy & Angel and like charmed
but did not care for Ghost Whisperer at all, nor did
we like Tru Calling. Forever Knight is a lot like Angel
but not quite as well written, you might want to give
it a try.
