suicide is a selfish thing and it is never a solution. it may seem like it when someone is in their darkest our, but truth is that its an action of cowardice. it would be a much wiser choice if there was some way of knowing what your fate will be in the afterlife .but seeing as in no one knows for sure what happens after one dies, how is it a solution. if someone is not responding to treatment they could either be receiving the wrong treatment or they need more time on the treatment. miserable people should definately continue treatment.

Of course not; according to my religious background suicide is the same as murder. To me and most people it isn't even considered as an option. If it was maybe half the world would call it quits. Find a new doctor and avoid toxic people even if you need to totally change you life. There are a lot of 12 step programs you can get involved in so you can met other people who are going through the same things you are and new ways to resolve your problems. Life has its ups and downs. Just hang in there and keep on looking for an answer. Your doctor should be able to refer you to a 12 step program. If not call the local mental health.

I think just because the treatment that was used at the time didn't work for them, that doesn't mean that there are other treatment that are available to them will not work either. The person and their therapist has to find a treatment that works for that person. It's like going to a therapist that you know you don't feel comfortable in telling him/her very personal issues to, so you have to find a therapist that is right for you, the same works for treatment there is no one size fits all the person might go through a lot of different treatments to find the right one for them. I have worked with people who have wanted to commit suicide and they would rather talk to someone about what they are feeling rather then going through with it.They will give you warning signs either directly or indirectly, before they act on it. You do have to take it seriously and help that person to get help as soon as possible or you can talk with them about what they are feeling. People who are serious about suiciding will have a plan and they will choose very lethal methods to do so.
Imagine yourself in a very dark place and you think that the only way out is to end your life because you think that nobody would care and you feel that you have nothing to live for, What are you feeling now? there's no right or wrong answer to this question most people at risk are desperately looking for another way out of their situation so they look at suicide as another option for them. They are inviting us to help. Their own resources to address life's difficulties have been temporarily exhausted so they are reaching out for help from anyone that will listen to them.
So it's easy for anyone who is not in their situation to say no they shouldn't suicide but who are we to judge them. Put yourself in their shoes before you react.

No, of course not. There are better ways. Continue to seek help! I believe suicide is the ultimate sin, but on top of that nothing is reason for killing ones self. Things have a way of working out. Most people, even strangers, will take the time to help a person in need. I would, for sure.

no because if you dont know what is beyond the grave, why not live and have a full life before goin to the place anyway?
Besides, i think the good things in life heavily outweigh the bad.

nope, you never know what tomorrow will be.. and if it's really that bad.. then remember it probably won't get any worse :)... so even if it's just plateaued off at least you know what you have to deal with.. that more than most people know in their life :)
it may be a while.. but it will get better one day.. as bad as it sucks now.. it will change.

Suicide is never the answer. Talk to someone, or turn to God. He can help anyone...
