Well, most of the time I'm an elementary music teacher (so I wear my own clothes, but I have to dress up). I also cook food/ serve at a restaurant during the summer (and obviously I must wear a uniform).
I hate my uniform, but I also don't have to worry about what I'm going to wear.

I'm a psychiatric nurse. We used to wear plain clothes, now we wear uniforms. I love uniforms. Better than ruining my own clothes and it means that all staff look smart.

I wear a uniform - I'm a Security Officer in a Criminal Courthouse in England. Black trousers, white shirt with epaulettes, matching tie, and a chunky sweater for winter. The uniform helps me identify with my role, and, as I am a very chunky chap - 15 stone, 50 inch chest, 5ft 8in tall, it suits me. I like it.
England must be the scruffiest nation on earth. Horrible jeans (often ripped), vests that leave the sweaty armpits exposed and reeking, trainers, women who eat too much junk food stuffing their fluid arses and pneumatic thighs into cheap leggings. Ye Gods, what a state! I had dinner the other day in a three-star hotel that does silver service and excellent food, and people were attempting to gain access dressed in rancid, dirty shorts and T shirts bearing offensive slogans. Thank goodness the hotel is privately owned, and that the owner operates a strict behaviour and dress code.
The best uniform I have ever worn is that of a chef. Check trousers, white shirt, check apron and a white tocque (chefs hat). When I qualified with my City and Guilds, my boss made a ceremony of presenting me with my white chef's jacket, with my name embroidered thereupon. I was excused duty that night, given a meal that I chose at the best table in the restaurant, and I was presented with two bottles of Chateauneuf de Pape - one to drink with my meal, another to take home and lay down. Photographs were taken, and they still sit above my desk at home. Bosses please note - this is how to motivate your staff. This event occurred thirty years ago and I still remember it with pride.
I only cook at home now, but I always wear chefs kit when I'm cooking - its practical, saves your outdoor clothes from stains and its great for the ego.

we wear our own clothes. we really have no dress code. sometimes I'd rather wear a uniform than try to figure out what to wear every day. our boss won't buy us shirts even though it's budgeted.

I wear a yellow feather in my hair and a dress cut down to there!
Rather unpractical for going on the no 15 but hey, it's a job.

I should have done, but I never wore it properly. Shirt unbuttoned, stripy socks, shaved head (on a girl, shock), body piercings, trainers... were how I wore my 'uniform' ;)
I've still got remnants of petty teen rebellion left over from my years of secondary school uniform regulations ;)
