It wasn't falling off, I crushed my nuts dropping onto the crossbar to avoid an accident. It made me hop around I can tell you.

Bruises from the beating of my stepfather for bending the front wheel after going down some steps (the big slab type ones). I was 6.5
Broke a bit off my front tooth at 7.
Ripped my shins on 'bear trap' pedals in my early twenties, still have pitted shins from that episode.
But worst of all was my pride, when on a motorbike i forgot to put the side stand out in my hurry. I landed unceremoniously on the pavement after managing not to have the bike land on me. I can laugh about it now.

I was riding down the mountain road late at night with my hands in my pockets(after a few beers) when i got a puncture in my frount tyre, went over the handlebars and hit the road with a crunch.
Shattered collar bone, broken ribs and a pierced lung, the worst of it all I was supposed to start a new job the next week.

I used to be a licensed professional cyclist in South Africa a few years ago....whilst training for a major race, I was pushed by a car into the back of a parked car (at a speed of about 60 KPH) and flew right over the roof, landed on my head (not wearing a helmet!!) and rolled about 20 metres, covered head to knee in cuts and bruises, wrote off the bike, spent 2 weeks on Valium for neck injuries....still got a massive scar down my inner left arm.
ps my dad financed another bike for me and I went on to race and placed in the top 50!!

omgosh! When I was 14, I was fooling around while riding my 10 speed! Back then, the handle bars were in the shape of ram horns.
~Anyways, I was in the lead of my friends, riding with no hands. All of a sudden, my front wheel was turned backward and I flew over the handle bar after smashing my pelvis bone on the handle bar mount, then landing face first on the pavement.
~Needless to say, bones hitting metal and pavement is really quit painful!
☼ have a glorious day!

When I was younger, I slammed on the breaks of my bike, went over the top into the middle of a busy road. Where some geezer ran me over, and so I split my nose, my right cheek, dismantled my jaw, cos I was young my head was fractured,
I guess you could say that was my worst injury ever...

Broken nose; I was about 12 years old & flipped over the handlebars of my bike, ( wanted to see what would happen if I stuck my feet in the front spokes - not a really good idea!) & skidded about 20 feet (on my face) cut my arms legs & face up pretty bad - not to mention my broken nose! I first of many broken bones!

Broke my right leg in 3 places. I had to stay in the hospital for a whole week. But I was on a unicycle. Got going too fast and landed wrong. This happened a week before I got a call about a job I was trying to get for a couple years. But they saved the job for me thenk God.

It wasn't an injury, as such, and it wasn't on my bike, however your question reminded me of a time when I used to cycle and then take my bik on the train to get to work. I was on the train and really hot after cycling. I leaned out of one of the carriage windows (as you used to be able to do) to cool down. The train was a coastal one going around a rather scenic part of Devon, only the track was quite prone to suffering with high tides and waves. On this occassion a huge wave flew over the carriage and absolutely soaked me as I leaned out. I could hear everyone on the train laughing at me, so I just continued to lean out and pretend I wasn't bothered. Absolutely bloody hilarious.

Two that I remember as the worst. one was coming off my bike when I was seven / eight and landind on barbed wire , have a scar on the inside of my leg that looks like cats eyes . the other was coming down the hill at Greenwich when my brakes failed, flipped up in the air and a stone got jammed in my elbow.
