lots, but not all together of course,

honey gouramis
otocinclus catfish
hasbrosus corydoras
pygmaeus corydoras
sparkling gouramis
endlers livebearers
mosquitofish
spotted rasboras
galaxy rasboras
mosquito rasbora
pygmy hatchetfish
betta splenden (species tank, 1x male OR 4-5x female)
african butterfly fish (species tank 1x individual)
neolamprologus multifasciatus cichlids (species tank)

remember, the fish may be small, but always take into account their activity levels. danios for example are far too active to be kept in a 10 gallon, 15 gallon minimum for them i'd say. neon tetras and most other smaller tetras are the same.

Ten gallons isn't very big. Neon tetras are great fish for small tanks. They grow to about an inch and a half and they're very friendly/peaceful.

Anything in category 1-3. Be very careful not to overstock a 10 gallon (easy to do).

MM covered it well - when you go to the fish store look at what you like, ask about adult size (but take some stores, like petsmart with a grain of salt).
