Of course it isn't a joke. I can't imagine a darn thing even closely remote to this being funny! Just be thankful that the person who recorded the movie onto the DVD of the 10 guys training, turned the info into the FBI and the right people. Thank God for good people who care about American citizens and especially our military. Yes, Ft Dix was closed, but the main road was open. They only have 6 of these guys who were plotting this. I am wondering about the other 4 who were also on the tape that were training. Please, this is NO JOKE!

Because it strikes at America itself.
Overseas, the soldiers are armed, locked, and loaded.
Here, the weapons are locked up in the arms room and the ammunition is at the ASP.
If they managed to make an attack on Fort Dix, they deal a blow to the mental image America has about it's security.
Managing an attack overseas is more dangerous (since the soldiers can shoot back), and has less effect.

It was no joke! The wide awake person who turned them in is an American hero! Even if those "home-grown" terrorists had only done minor damage or killed just a few soldiers, think of the message that sends about the lack of security here at home. And think of what that would have done to the morale of our fighting men and women....that our own government can't keep the military bases secure.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! If we don't secure our borders, demand that our government act swiftly and responsibly to diligently seek out and rid America of those who are here illegally, we are going to pay with our lives.

terrorist (noun) a individual who tries to frighten human beings or governments into doing what he/she needs by ability of employing or threatening violence They weren't human beings, and regardless of in the event that they have been, their movements characterize the term. I grew up in Peru throughout the 80's while the terrorist group Shinning course became into at that's maximum helpful. The Peruvian voters did not call them 'traitors', they have been terrorists even even with the incontrovertible fact that they have got been Peruvian nationals. In a warfare they are stated as terrorists b/c they don't look to be a formally recognized government sanctioned military. not all terrorists assault in foreign places international places, they seek for out the main opportune moments and places the place they are going to make a brilliant effect. think of roughly it, if their assault on feet. Dix/McGuire AFB became into helpful, it could have been a brilliant blow to the U. S. defense force and that they might have bragged approximately it and used it as propaganda to recruit extra terrorists. that's not considerable the place they are from. in the event that they are going to use mindless violence to frighten human beings, they are terrorists. the U. S. government isn't employing the term as an excuse, their movements warrant that determination. Oh, and terrorists are actually not coated under the Geneva convention. It became right into a sequence of regulations for warfare between government sanctioned armies. this would not contain the terrorists (see above definition) or insurrection communities.

That's right! You just keep believing it's all lies, and we'll keep fighting the fight. Gee, maybe because these guys weren't organized enough to do a better job and one of them had easy access to Fort Dix through delivering pizza? Three out of the six are illegals! We should stop focusing only on the Mexicans and start paying attention to all the other illegals who, without any attention, are more dangerous.

A joke...heavens no...it was a serious plot to attack Fort Dix.
It seems that the defense of Ft. Dix was dependent on a store clerk... rather than the base security....
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070509/ap_on_re_us/fort_dix_plot
An unidentified store clerk was credited with tipping off authorities in January 2006 after one of the suspects asked him to transfer a video to DVD that showed 10 men shooting weapons at a firing range and calling for jihad, prosecutors said. "If we didn't get that tip," said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, "I couldn't be sure what would happen."

The Pizza Connection; Easy Access to Fort Dix
The six men charged with planning an attack to kill several hundred U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix, N.J., thought they would have easy access to the base by pretending to deliver pizzas.
SERDAR TATAR's father owned a restaurant near Fort Dix and made deliveries onto the base."
Super Mario's Restaurant staff often made pizza deliveries on to the Fort Dix and to the nearby McGuire Air Force Base. SerdarTatar whose father owned the restaurant was able to acquire a map of Fort Dix, labeled "Cantonment Area Fort Dix, N.J.," and gave it to the five other men arrested by the FBI.

Mario Tummillo lives near Tatar's father in Cookstown and said he worked with Tatar at the pizza parlor. Tummillo, 20, described Tatar as a religious man who "wasn't violent at all."
I have a pretty good idea of the goals of the peaceful religion of Islam which promises peace and security when there is no more fitnah (فتنة - disbelief, oppression, tumult) — Qur'an 2:190-194; 8:39
