i would also like to find a shop that sells just 1 sock, every shop i hop into refuss to sell me just 1 shoe or sock, equal rights for us disabled and seatbelts for wheelchairs.

Make friends with other one-legged people and then you can share a pair of shoes.
Of course, you would need to find people with the same taste in shoes and with the other leg off.
Altenatively, why not have the other leg amputated? Think what you would save in shoes and socks.

Just nick a shoe from those display stands they have outside the shop.
Surely, regarding socks, there is no difference between left and right. Buy a pair, then you've got one for wearing and one as a spare.

seat belts? what are you nuts.... most of us want the dumb law makers to back off on mandatory use of seat belts in cars... don't borrow trouble... socks did you know that most socks take the form of your feet so buy a pair and you get two for the price of one.... as far a shoes go find another man the same size with the other leg missing and you have a partner in your shoe buying experience.
