Yeh, Im learning about the constitution and stuff in school so this is how I know it. Register to vote even if you are 17 or whatever, but when your actually voting you have to be 18. So if your birthday is on the day of election and you turn 18 you are allowed to vote as long as you registered.

Yes. You could even vote in the primary at 17 if you were going to be 18 by election day. Just register to vote like you would if you were already 18.

sure you would be able to desire to be 18 to vote. very nearly 18 isn't close sufficient. i'm happy that adolescents have the interest to vote. that's not merely an honor yet in addition a criminal accountability. once you're sufficiently previous to vote please gain this accountability. by ability of asserting this, i'm encouraging you to analyze your options and not vote on subjects you do not comprehend. you do not want to be responsible for electing somebody or something which you do not trust.

I read your other responses ... and I hope you will follow all of your local and state regulations and find yourself in the noble and important position of being able to cast your first vote.
I don't wish to be preachy ... but please know that your vote is nothing less than sacred. Things are currently happening in Washington that will affect you and other young people like you for the rest of your lives. It's time that young people step forward and have a say in their future ... which will be here all too soon.
Please be aware and informed, make an effort to see through the hype, and vote your conscience. With more conscientious and politically active young people, we might just be able to bring this country back.

Yes - but you need to check every state's voter eligibility requirements.
In California, the deadline to register to vote for an election is 15 days before each local and statewide election day, so please register early!

Check your states' laws. If you take care of the registration before then, you should be fine to vote that day.
