Do you think Paris Hilton should pay for some jail time?

I think Paris should stay in jail more than 45 days. She is a spoiled rotten brat, and she needs to stop getting away with everything.

At the same time she's only being put in prison and not some laid-back excuse of a prison is to set an example as everyone's aware she's a role model to so many. The judge was quite harsh on that one.

But she did know what she was doing, no human being who has a drivers licience could mistake that they were suspended for driving for only 1 month instead of 3, you'd be counting down the days after the first week for God's sake!

You are right celebrities in general need to stop getting away with things just because of who they are, but think about it, if she was put in for longer we may feel for the injustice she received. Could you live in a world where we felt sorry for Paris Hilton, I couldn't !

I think Paris should get exactly what every other civilian gets who violates probation and breaks the law! No deals. Drinking and Driving is one of my biggest pet peeves!!! Celebrity or not!

I know the paparazzi are ******* and can't stay out of their faces or don't give them ANY privacy at all - which I HATE - but the celebrities always ask to be treated like every one else and here's her chance to see what it is like to be "normal". Do the crime, pay the time sister!!! I think the 45 days is efficient enough time as is with everyone else so pay the debt to society Miss Hilton and learn your lesson!!!

spoiled brat doesn't even begin to cover it. anyone else would have got more than 45 days. and we'd be doing our time in jail with real criminals, not some little boutique jail like she'll end up in.
sorry, not a paris fan. she is so useless that it is embarassing. her parents must be real proud of that one!

I definitely think that she should do the time for the crime. I am sick of seeing celebs get off easy. I think it perpetuates this delusion we have that our actions have no consequences. We see it in movies and on tv all the time, drinking , drugs, sleeping around, they are all portrayed as great fun, with no negative consequences like there are in real life.

The media has created a false reality that young people are rapidly falling into. I say use celebs to make a statement to the country that crime carries a penalty, no matter who you are.

You can't jail someone for not liking them. She broke the law. The sentence for that is 45 days. The punishment has to fit the crime.

they are going to probably placed her up on the Hilton extremely. certainly they'd desire to make her artwork as a maid at a Hilton for 3 mos. and he or she could in basic terms be allowed to stay off the money she earns. that is completely new to her. i might want to work out her sparkling a bathroom!

so even tho i think she is a spoiled brat, i dont think thats a good reason for her to go to jail... the fact that she broke the law and then was caught violating her probation twice is good reason for her to go to jail. its bullsh*t if she gets off.
