The petition, which had more than 900 signatures by Tuesday morning, urges the California actor-turned-governor to pardon Hilton because she provides "beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives."

I read this in the news today....are they kidding me?

Oh and I do care about Paris Hilton now that she's going to jail, that is the only news worthy thing about her.

No way. She broke the law. If any ordinary person was faced with the same situation, they'd have to face the music and do the time.

She has never provided me with ANY form of entertainment, and while she may be pretty, in a brain-damaged kind of way, the little bit I've seen of her personality excludes her possessing anything close to true beauty.

Paris Hilton has never had to be responsible for anything in her entire life. She has crashed about the Earth acting like a spoiled child, never facing the consequences of her actions. She treats honest working people like dirt. The very same people who make her privileged little world work. People like her reinforce the bad image the rest of the world holds about Americans.

If she does the time, then, afterwards, she can go back to living her rich, destructive, trivial life.

If Arnold pardons her, he's just proving that he's an elitest boob, like many of us believe him to be. There is one set of justice for ordinary people, and another for rich celebrities.

The worst thing she has to face is 45 days of boredom. She won't be in with the general population, she's going to be in a "special isolated ward" for "prisoners of note". After she gets out, she can resume her life where she left off with her money and fame. How does this compare to what a regular person would have to face? Most people would be fired from their jobs the instant they were convicted. Most of us don't have the bucks to pay an attorney to appeal the conviction. Now you're doing 45 days, and you're unemployed and poor when you get out and you have a record. Hilton doesn't have to worry about having a record, but the rest of us do. We have to somehow find jobs after being fired and doing the time.

Treat everybody the same. If you're prosecuted, you go to jail. She should stop whining like the spoiled little child she is and buck up and do the time. A few people might respect her, in the end, and she can always write a book about the experience or do a TV show and cash in on the whle thing.

A petition ain't going to cease the regulation and justice. A choose has ruled a determination - except it is going to three charm situations, it ain't going to take place. If Paris is proper on the grounds of being unfair - what crap, if ANY choose might overturn the determination - there will be alot of anger around .... and might prepare money does buys each and every thing.

No. Thats crazy. 900 signatures!? I don't know why people care that much. I guess some people need Paris Hilton to bring some beauty and excitement into their otherwise boring lives.

I would not sign it... it is a wake up call for her, not every American has the privilege of been given a second chance in DUY why should she! Just because she is a celebrity does not means she should have this special treatment. Up most she provides a bad example for all the weak minded women and immature girls who want to follow her, if Paris Hilton was a raper, or from a minority background she would not have this petition... so good riddance for 45 days of no absurdity.

Would I sign a Paris "Get out of Jail Free" petition????

Oh that is soooo funny!! I laughed so hard a macaroni noodle shot out of my nose!!!

Your answer from me: Never!
I will NOT condone drinking and driving and continuing to break the law because you are worthy of a news story!!! iiiickk!! I think she's a skinny, boobless, bean pole that has an holier-than-thou attitude and I think she deserves to see what "normal" people would have to do in the same situation!!!

Not only would I not sign it, I would sign the anti-petition to have Schwarzenegger removed from office if he tried to pardon her.

She's not hot...She's a skanky piece of rich white trash, and deserves nothing other than what she has earned, which is jail time!!!

If you or I was caught driving drunk, we would probably have been thrown in jail the first time...But then to have the AUDACITY to try to excuse herself with "I didn't know my license was suspended"?!?! Oh, PUH-lease!!! Any of the rest of us would have been slapped with a 90-day sentence a long time ago, and the courts wouldn't even hear the appeal.

lol...I think it's all crazy. If she was a really good person and she was really doing some good in the world yea. She serves no purpose except using up air. Keep letting her off and she'll keep doing the same stuff she's doing. Keep putting her in jail and maybe one day she'll get tired of it or realize people really don't care who she is. I mean she's only really somebody when somone else dies. I don't think anyone should have to die for her to really be someone...She's just a waste of space.

HELL NO! Its time she stops making excuses and takes responsiblity. HOw many times will she keep doing stupid things. Look at Ty Pennington getting a DUI. He totally held himself accountable. Hes a good man that does good things. ANd I pray for and support him. But Paris' actions just ugly up the world.

no. she should go to jail like everyone else; that's the problem with celebrities is they think they can get away with any kind of bad behavior--and they do! i think it's about time someone gave a celebrity a real person sentence. jeez, she's already getting her own private jail quarters. believe me, she will not have the kind of jail experience that most normal people do.
