Is bush a good president? Was his daddy better or worse?

George W. Bush is a very poor president. He will not compromise with any opponent, and in a Democracy, compromise is the only thing that keeps it running. We will be running under Gridlock for the next two years because Bush will not work with the Democratic congress, unless all the Democrats suddenly become militaristic NeoCons.

George W. Bush is an even worse military leader as president. He drew no plans for the post war in Iraq and largely ignored the advice of most of the military, which told him not to go into Iraq in the first place. That leaves our men and women fighting with no plan against an enemy in his backyard.

In comparison to his father, George HW Bush was better a president. George HW Bush recognized that the stability of Iraq would be destroyed by going all the way to Baghdad, and new that his party would not allow taxes to be raised in order to pay for such an occupation. George HW Bush could also string together five gramatically correct sentences. His son struggles to get one grammatically correct sentence spoken when he speaks. George HW Bush also said he wants a smaller government and tried to make it smaller. In comparison, George W. Bush has said he wants a smaller government and has made the government dramatically bigger.

W. Bush is one of the worst presidents in US history. He got us into this horrible war in Iraq which has cost us hundreds of billions of dollars and over 3,300 lives. Also, America had the sympathy of the world after 9/11, and now we are hated for invading an Arab country under false pretenses.

Bush 1 was a much better president. He launched a war against Saddam Hussein which we easily won, and he did not invade Baghdad. He looks like a genius in comparison to his incompetent and stubborn son.

His daddy at least had half a brain and could speak proper English. GWB will more than likely go down in history as one of the worst if not THE worst president in U.S. history.

He was the best choice at the time, by far. He could have done better but considering the dishonest obstructionism of the dems, he's doing alright.

...Why is clinton, who attacked other countries without the consent from congress, and lost over 4000 US soldiers, considered a good president. Clearly, clinton is one of the worst, dishonest and self-serving of all time.

Yes, and they are both about the same. His dad could have done more with the war but he let public opinion wear him down. That's what I like about the present Bush, he doesn't give a rats tail what you think!
