mic and headphones?

i have a new mic and headphones, it will not work on yahoo or msn what am doing wrongi have done all the tests the sound recoder works

Hi. Get into your volume control "Start> All Programs> Accessories> Entertainment> Volume Control" Click on Options> Properties>. Check each device (put a check in the box). Un-mute all devices. Do the same with the "Recording" settings. Then experiment! Have fun.
