it's not for sluts...
I live in Cali, ten minutes away from Hollywood....pole dancing here is like ballroom dancing in England, it's big!!!!!
It's not for sluts....whoever said that...you should try it...one class...your arms will be falling off.
It requires a lot of strength...you start by levels and it gets more complicated as you go...go on youtube and check out some of the competition pole dancing...it'll make you want to do it more!!!
Pole dancing doesn't mean you are training to be a stripper....it's a very very good work out and you will notice a change in your body after a few months of doing it. You work out every single muscle so you get toned really fast.
Do it!!! doesn't matter what people say! you won't regret it...

Good GRIEF, I can't believe how some of these people can be so callous and judgemental. Did it ever occur to you people that pole-dancing is starting to be known more and more for a great way to work out? You can really strengthen your entire body, especially your arms, solely on your body weight.
It's NOT just for, as some of you people put them "sluts" and "whores".

being a dancer myself i can tell you that it is hard, you have to have a lot of upper body strength, have a lot of stamina. you have to also be mentally strong but it is a great achievement if you can get into it. The dance world is really picking up down to fitness and treating your body well also sex sell as the media would but it. if you have the natural rhythm for dance and its in your heart then go for it and good luck. its always harder for girls so you have to be that little bit extra-special

pole dancing is a great hobby, but it will take alot of energy. It's good though because it burns alot of calaries. It is fairly expensive for proper lessons too which is a shame :(

Oh and its not for "sluts" only if you go round doing it to every guy you meet. I mean heck you could do a dance for your husband if you had one. Sluts are only people that sleep with lots of strangers :)

Is this your big goal? If you require attention that this would bring, I'm sure you'll find a way.

Its not too hard to learn,Just 3 weeks ago I was doing it in my local pub because they had put some scaffolding up,I thought I was marvellous until the men all started shouting "get em on".

You really need to start working for English Cad at his club,my daughter works for him and gets fantastic wages...£90 for a 75 hour week.

no to sound like a smart *** but pay a visit to your local strip club to check it out. Here in Calif there are actually classes at dance studios.
