It comes down to human nature wanting to see if the grass is greener and wanting something different. My wife cheated and left me after 15 years and it was an emotional hell. But the way I see it if you only had a vanilla shake for 15 years and then along comes chocolate you might want to try it. But after a while you might miss vanilla or want to try strawberry because chocolate will start to get old like vanilla? That was crazy lol

Men are always on the look out for something they don't have maybe even something better. They always have been that way and always will. Men see sleeping with women while they are tied down as an ego booster. They figure if someone out there still wants them or finds them attractive then they are still ok. My husband and I have only been together for 4 years and he is very flattered when a girl shows interest in him. He just has the self control to not act on it. Not all men can do that.

For the same reasons that women cheat!
Either they are not getting all they want at home or there is something more attractive on the other side of the fence.
Marriage or living together is a two sided thing and sadly most degenerate and lose the vitality they start with.
There are always two sides to divorce no matter how bad one side may have been.
Marriage is something you have to work at. I don't just tell my wife I love her - I show her in many ways each and every day. Can you say the same about yourself?

Sometimes its because they are bored....other times because they no longer love the current partner they are with....and at times, it is because they are just plain creeps.
It hurts to be the betrayed partner, and no matter what you do, the hurt remains. All you can do is take time to heal, and heal over time you will, however your trust and confidence in loving someone will somewhat be dented.
If you stay with the partner who cheated on you, the hardest part is the time it will take to heal, trust, and redevelop a bond with that person. In the end, it may not be worth it. It all depends on the relationship and why the partner strayed in the first place.
If you leave the partner who cheated on you, the hardest part is cleaning up the mess left behind, to build your confidence, and when the time comes, to heal and trust him.

Men and women choose to cheat because of a disconnection with their marriage partners. You as the spouse may feel you give them everything, but sadly it's not true. Otherwise, why would anyone take the risk simply to fulfill an unwanted need?
The reality as I see it, Men or women can either be habitual cheaters or learn their lesson once they make the HUGE mistake with another person.

Men/women DO NOT cheat if they have everything.
The thing is men/women rarely have everything.
People want to be happy, but don't understand how to be happy so if they think they are not happy or aren't as happy as they think they should be it the fault of their partner.

Men don't cheat for "better", they cheat for "different". Love has nothing to do with it....when they see something that they think is better, they will chase it like a dog chases a car...but it very rarely is any better, once the novelty wears off, there will be nothing but problems....and the OW needs to know....if he will do it WITH you he will do it TO you.

I hate to tell you this but, it is cause they are bord. It is the same thing with you all the time. You have to spice things up everynow and then. Same thing with girls, we cheat when we have everything, but it cause we do the same damn thing every time we see each other. Gets old. If the guy spices it up, the girl would not cheat either.
