Laughing for humans is sometimes an involintary action. Since humans are animals, I was wondering if other animals laugh or giggle somehow. I was thinking that if humans do it naturally, other animals can do it too.
I'm not talking about a dog "smiling", or a cat purring.
What other animal has the brain capacity to see humor in life?

I've thought about it and I don't really think I've seen any evidence of sense of humour in cats and dogs. They do seem to have 'fun', but I think humour is a bit advanced.

I would think people who have experience with primates have seen evidence of a sense of humour in them.

I'm not a vet, but I think horses can have a sense of humor. I had an old mare which I took my mother to see. Mom is afraid of horses, but was willing to go into the field with me. My mare and another got on either side (front & back) of Mom while we were feeding them some apples. The one touched Mom on the back with her nose while Mom wasn't looking and Mom jumped and turned around with a startled, "Oh!" Then the other touched her, and Mom jumped and squeeked again. Those two horses knew they had a game going before the third touch! I just didn't have the heart to let them torture Mom after the fourth touch.
