I'm recently divorced after 15 years "she cheated" and I never really payed attention to a womens ring finger until now. If she is wearing a ring I stay away but if not then I take her as possibly available. Do women look at guys the same way?

Some women do, others do not care whether a ring is there or not (same as a guy does).

But you should also be aware that married women/men on the "prowl" may not wear their wedding rings, so relying solely on whether someone wears a ring or not may not be the best way to determine if someone is involved with another.

The TRUE way to determine if someone is married or involved with another is that when you begin to start something with someone, you would develop a relationship such that the person will not lie and say they are not involved. But that risk comes with all new relationships. You can never be too careful.......

Well if I'm looking for a relationship as in lovers i look at the ring finger but that doesnt always tell all. You can never have enough friends so why limit that w/the ring finger. Enjoy ppl, have fun...and live life to its fullest. Never know what that married women can get you through maybe one of her friends.

To be perfectly honest, I have never been married, and I still don't know which finger a wedding ring or engagement ring is supposed to be worn on. I think my present gf is planning on that changing, and I suppose I should look it up because it has got me into some minor difficulties in the past.

I think it's a learned behaviour... my best friend trained me to look for the ring. And it was after I divorced. I don't think a ring will stop some people!

I am married but I never wear a ring and my husband does the same thing.

Best way is to start making a conversation first, I guess.

Oh yes, we sure do. Well, at least I do. I have been checking the finger since before I married. Old habits die hard I suppose. Though my husband not only checks the finger but every other area as well, lmao.

very authentic. whether it is likewise as much as the guy to tell the guy they're talking to that they are fortunately married, then if that person nonetheless desires to talk to you or purchase you a drink sturdy success to you. a minimum of they have had honest warning that on the top of the night you will bypass living house to the guy who offered you that ring.
