I LOVE THEM! Especially the feather comforters! Being poked by a few feathers is worth the comfort, but I know whatchya mean that does get annoying when you lay your head on a pillow and expect it to be soft but intead you get poked in the eye with a damn feather!

Any good bedding and bath store will have feather pillows but they'll be light and fluffy because they're new--shop around but be prepared--good quality feather or down pillows are pretty pricey. I had one I loved that was heavy, I think it might actually have been kapok, but I got used to new pillows when I got them. I got rid of it chiefly because I read about dust mites and decided that any pillow that old was probably half dust mites inside.

Yes, I hate those. That's why I stick to cotton, I hate when the ends of the feathers poke me in the face.

If you get the really well made ones, the feathers don't come out to poke you. LOL

Double up the pillow case... nothing is more comfy that a feather pillow.
The more expensive brands only use the feathers and not the quills.

I love feather pillows as you can see from my avatar. Invest in some pillow ticking and you won't get poked.

No...a good ones feathers do not come out. I have my mothers and my Aunts old goose down pillows that my grandmother made. They do not lose any feathers. I had them redone...so they look new.
LOVE THEM :-)

I hate when the feathers poke me. Also, they can get too firm and give you neck problems.
