Please someone out there who is annoyed by the obsession with Abercrombie and designer label tshirts. I mean you're basically just paying $40 advertising for them. I don't get it. I'm not goth or anti-social or anything but I can't stand Abercrombie. It takes me a huge amount of will power just to make myself go in the store. I can't stand the annoying people who think they're cool just because they shop there. Then there's the darkness.... it's like they've got you trapped in there with no lights on. And the deafening "emo"/actresses-gone-singers-who-can't-really-sing music that is playing. Does anyone else feel this way?

Ok, just to clear this up: I don't dislike all peeps who shop @ abercrombie. Sorry, I just don't like the prices and the people who are stuck up because they wear abercrombie.

nope! i love those clothes! maybe you just don't like the way they look on you so you hate it cuz it's kind of weird to have that much hatred for a store, it's just a "dumb" store member? not a big deal.

I agree completely!! I'm not really popular and anything but I'm nice to everybody and I have a lot of friends. I can't stand Abercrombie. All the popular people shop there and act like they own everything. There shorts are about 3 inches high and they don't think anybody who wears anything but an extra small should shop in there stores. All the people I know wear a large in there which is sad because they are skinny. And I can't stand the darkness or the employees!!! I'm glad somebody shares my opinion. :)

I also hate the obsession with Abercrombie clothes!! It's mostly like 5th and 6th graders trying to be popular because of what they wear...Which is SO not true!! Clothes cannot make you popular...but in this sad country, some schools are like that. Which is REALLY sad. "Popular" kids should be the ones that have a great personality, and who don't care about the brand they are wearing. Plus, it is so expensive! Ugh, who wants to pay $40 dollars for some shirt no one cares about?! Some of their shirts are cute though...but I don't shop there.

I never shop there. At my school you're only cool if you wear Hollister or Abercrombie luckily i am NOT one of the cool people because i find Abercrombie a waste of time and money . And since time IS money then Abercrombie is double the waste! thats just my logic i'm sure a ton of people don't agree with me.

I don't care for them, but then, I'm 36, and the only people I know who like them are teenagers. But I would not have cared for them even as a teen, because none of their stuff is my style, and I was never one to care about something just because everyone else did.

whats your problem?? their tshirts arent 40 dollars.. they are like 15!! their clothes are only high priced because they are hand made and they last longer than other clothes.. and no shopping at abercrombie doesnt make you a self-centered, high-maitnence, rich, brat. their clothes are about the only clothes i own that are comfy and actually cute. people need to stop stereotyping.

Yeah, I really don't like that store or there clothing. Everybody at my school wears clothes from there. And Hollister and A.E. I think that its a waste of money to buy their clothes to look like everybody else.

i'm there with ya! Honestly you could get a t-shirt similar to on elike that @ jcpenny's for only like 10-17 bucks! (thats where i get most/some of my clothes)
Hollister does the same thing, 'sept i really like their clothes.

their clothes are far too blah for my taste...waaay too generic looking!!! but if u want to be a clone of everyone else, then by all means go ahead & waste your money on that high-priced garbage!!!

I have always wondered why people pay to wear brand names on their clothing. Aren't they supposed to pay YOU if you're going to advertise their name?

well i agree in a way..the prices are ridiciously and just add to the pressures of being a teen and feeling like you have to have designer labels to fit in..
**Most of the time there stuff isnt even that cute..
