I am a Disney kid for life! I don't think I can ever get tired of the Disney classics. I am only 21, but I plan on being a fan until the day I die. My favorite movie is Sleeping Beauty. In fact I love the character so much, that I think I may name my first daughter Aurora.

Hey im 37 and I love disney as well, the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the beast are among my top 5. I love Stitch and Simba as well. In fact went to see the stage version of Beauty and the Beast just 3 weeks ago at HMT in Aberdeen, it was fantastic.

Lots of women your age like classic Disney movies. Your not pathetic. I personal am not a fanatic(being a teenage boy and all)but I love there new ones with Pixar. My favorite classic is probably Beauty and The Beast. I was born the year it was made.

Why would you think you are a loser. I am older than you and count Mary Poppins as my favorite movie. Having kids helps you gain a new and greater appreciation for movies like the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and the rest. Don't be so hard on yourself. Embrace your inner Princess!!!

Disney is still iconic because they have created some classics, but they have thrown together some turkeys in recent decades and exchanged charm for cringe, good sountracks with sickly ones, and storytelling with fast-flashing imagery. I enjoyed 'Meet The Robinsons' though, but my latter criticism above made it difficult for children to follow, which you could never say about the earlier classics.
I've not seen the ones you mention. I would attach the word pathetic to the likes of 'Aladdin' and 'Lion King'.

'The Jungle Book' rules ok.

You're not sad and pathetic, I still love Disney movies, and I think I will love them even when I turn 35 someday. I think those movies have grown with us since our childhood, and one day our kids will share that joy with us. I love watching Disney movies with my little cousins, I think we can never get rid of them, they keep coming back, they are classics and they are for life!
