I been trying and all I get is a limited or no connectivity message please help :(

Did you try to run the Network Setup Wizard on your laptop?

Also, if you have an external wireless card, you should have the software that came with it installed on your computer.

I'd also make sure that your network is the first in the order of networks that it can access.

Get near to the router, always try at close range first. Use the wireless utility for your card to find your network, set the encryption to match and then connect. This should create a profile to save the settings. If this does not succeed post again.

Okay, I'm going to mention something here only because I've been "stupid" enough to let it happen to me - be sure your firewall isn't blocking the traffic. Once in a while I forget to allow traffice through ZoneAlarm, and I'll get the exact same thing. Just allow the traffic through your firewall (you may want to right-click on your wireless icon in the system tray and click on "repair" also).
