You are over focusing on something that might not happen. It is more often that the doctor will break your water.
When it happens you get to the hospital. Don't worry so much about infection. you would have to be walking around unattended for a long time for that to happen.
You need to get your mind on something else more positive.

i'm new round right here, so forgive me if i'm doing it incorrect yet so a ideas I thumbs down any remark i locate offensive or gut-wrenchingly stupid, thumbs up some thing i locate humorous, and performance suggested questions or comments on some occassions yet in hassle-free words then because they were outrightly racist. for sure i'm keen about loose-speech, and persons may have evaluations on human beings and issues that others would no longer believe, yet inciting racial hatred merely receives my back up, and that i imagine the comments I have suggested were no longer justifiable in any experience. I agree that there appears to be like a tremendous form of folk who abuse the gadget to attempt to make effective in hassle-free words their evaluations are those shown, yet when the violation gadget became monitored more effective heavily this would not be so honestly done. i'm getting the effect that the minute a question/remark is suggested, it really is bumped off without "larger potential" overseeing this procedure. If the "trolls" (look at me all 'down' with the 'lingo') were observed and their potential taken away per chance an infringement on loose speech would not be an project.

Even though I knew it was normal for your water to not break on its own, I still had that same fear. I was worried it would happen at the worst time or that I wouldn't even notice. Guess what happened? The doctor broke it. I was on my back when she did it, and it felt like a constant flow. You'll know when it's happening.

I was never really concerned about my water breaking. My baby was breach, so I had a planned C-section at 38 1/2 weeks.

you will definately know. most women have the water broken by the doctor once they are already in active labor and already in the hospital. don't worry about it.
although i did sit on a towel while driving in my car for the 2 weeks before i gave birth b/c i was afraid my water would break on the new car upholstery & i didn't want to ruin it!

You will definitely know if your water breaks. I had the same worry, and then GUSH, my water broke. It might come on as a little trickle, or it might gush... but either way, you will know.
