hey all. i wanted to know if it is possible for you to keep Windows Media Player going with a song with windows media player being closed. thx :P

No. It needs to be open. You can minimize it though and it'll still work.

you can play songs without windows media player being visible. for instance when you are playing music as background music on a web page.

you can't close it and keep it playing, but if you right click the start bar(i dont remember what its called) and go to toolbars while wmp is open click windows media player, and minimise wmp, it conveniently hides it on the start bar.

There is an option when you minus the window down to have it running and appear on the Task Bar.
