Yes, Paris Hilton does deserve to go to jail. It is about time she got treated like the human being she is, there is nothing special about her . . . if it had been you or I we would have gotten jail time, so why should she get away with whatever crap she wants just because she is famous for being famous?

Paris Hilton is a dirty skank homemade porn making spoiled rich girl and it was about time she entered the real world.

Her Money can't save her this time & I could not be happier.

Just about every rational sentient human on the face of the planet thinks that Paris Hilton made Her own bed and must now lie in it. Incarceration will do wonders for Her outlook towards others and Her place in the scheme of things. Anything less than a custodial sentence would be a travesty of justice. One presumes that She is an adult and knows the difference between right and wrong (or has at least had the concept explained to Her). Send Her to prison and make Her an example for all those other people who think that a transgression is something that you can get away with.....and still get Your picture in the gossip magazines! To add insult to injury, people are actually being asked to sign a petition requesting that She be granted leniency. Perhaps there should be a petition demanding that clemency NOT be an option.

I totally agree with you! She did the crime so she should pay the time. Just because she's famous doesn't mean she should just get away with crimes. Driving while drunk is illegal and she should serve her time to learn a lesson. After she spends her time in jail I don't think she would do it again

I do, and not just because I can't stand paris hilton... I'm tired of celebrities being "above the law." Too often I hear about them committing crimes that If I had done it I would get jail time, whereas they just get a stern talking too..

I do to

My comment: The petition for the gov to free paris only says to forgive her for DUI, but she's not only going to jail for that, some people forget she was driving without a license and the law clearly states: If you drive with a suspended or revoked license, you can be fined and jailed and your vehicle may be impounded. At least she still has her car! And what example would governor Schwarzenegger set if he steps on a judge's decision?

I'm going to sign these two:

LOL but this one is just mean haha and kinda funny http://www.petitiononline.com/kram1003/petition.html
Seriously I signed that one too.

Paris got off EASY if she had been "Jo Schmoe" who works at Hilton Hotel as a maid she would have gotten far worse and it wouldn't be all over the news and they would have put her in with all of the other prisoners not in a "Special Cell" for celebs.

i've got in no way been to reformatory in the previous and that i've got lung issues might I be enable off the hook if i desperate to drink and stress and then stress returned with a suspended licence after i became into enable go? Paris Hilton made a mistake and that they permit her off via fact of her money. Then the smartass f u c ok s up returned so yea she merits reformatory. besides she desires to be toughened up somewhat them women in reformatory will help her. think of of it not as punishment yet as therapy.

I do, but even though the judge sentenced her to 45 days, I heard legal experts express doubt she'll serve more than a day or two because the L.A. jails are overcrowded and it's better use of the space to put dangerous criminals in jail than rich idiots.

Does she want to wait till she runs her mother over while in a drunken stupor to feel any remorse?

Go to jail now.

Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Do not drink & drive.

If they started putting all the rich and famous in jail when they break the law they might finally understand they are no better than the criminal in the cell next to them!
