Actually, Visual Thesaurus is great for that. But it's about $40. Alternative is MS word.
Go to Tucows.com and you can get freeware thesaurus programs that aren't too bad. Also try cnet.com for freeware.
The first is my strongest recommendation as a writer. It sparks the imagination. Check out Visual Thesaurus website for a demo. You'll see.

Definitions can be found in a dictionary.
Synonyms can be find be found in Roget's Thesaurus.

The way I see it hun, you would do well to check them all out your self and make your own mind up, Dictionaries are generally a good start to find what you need. Good luck with your English

yeh all of them, but a dictionary doesn't find synonyms, nor does a thesaurus find definitions.
so it could be B.

I'm pretty sure it's D. But when "all of the above" is a choice, it's usually the right answer. Don't quote me on that :)
