Pharmacists in the UK have been allowed to sell the morning-after pill without a prescription since 2001.

You can buy it over the counter in some chemists now for around £20. If you go in and ask them, they will refer you to see someone as it still needs a prescription. Or you can go to some place like the Family Planning or Marie Stopes and get it free after speaking with the doctor. If you cant get to any of these places, try making an emergency appointment with your doctor. The morning after pill works up to 72 hours after having unprotected sex, but the chances of it working are better if taken within 24 hours.

Yes it is, it can be bought over the counter but is quite expensive I think. Your doctor can prescribe it which is free and they should have it available at those teenage sexual health clinics that are run all over the place (not assuming your age or anything)... if not try a family planning clinic, they may also carry it!

you can buy it from a chemist but its prob a lot cheaper to go to a family planning clinic, and it will be free, make sure it is done within 72 hrs of intercourse!
