if you had been convinced of a point of view , and later on by discussing with someone of another point of view which is the opposite of yours, the will to understand that person get you to see the logic behind his point of view ..and at the same time, it happened that your strong convictions in your own point of view dimishes considerably, but it is a point of view , you have been defending long before, and seems to be even a part of who, but yet , you are not strongly convinced again ...and you don't really want join the other point of view because you come to understand it ...but, also see good logic in yours when lookign at the things from another side either ..So, what is the best mental behavior, according to you, to adopt in this situation to not yourself balance between 2 point of views ...Do you see what I mean ?

.....Bobby, what you're talking about is keeping an open mind. The underlying truth is that you don't know everything, and that you can learn a lot from other people - who also don't know everything. But together people can learn a lot from each other.

But you have to be willing to hear another person's point of view. You don't have to throw away your own opinion and adopt the other person's thinking. But if you have an open mind, you'll listen...and consider the logic behind the point of view. And you seem to be doing a good job at that!

If you discover that the new point of view is better than the one you've held before, you have the option of adopting the new point of view. It's a choice you have. I think we all should be ready to replace old, less useful ideas with new, more useful ones.

Or, if you decide that your current beliefs work better than what you're hearing, that's fine, too.

But it's your call...you have to make the judgment. Either way, I encourage that you continue to be open to the thinking of others, always ready to expand your knowledge with better ideas and more realistic perspectives!

You can keep your point of view but acknowledge that there is some credence to the opposing point of biew.
