If he's throwing up then he probably has an allergy to dairy. Stop feeding him dairy and get him to the doctor ASAP.

My son who will basically eat anything under the sun has always hated apple sauce too. But he liked apple baby food & now he likes apple juice & apple cereal bars so I believe it was the consistency. Same w/ mashed potatoes. Would gag every time, but since I love them & can't fathom how somebody couldn't like them, I still gave him a taste every time I had them. After a few months, he came around. I'd just wait & keep trying. He doesn't need apple sauce, just like he doesn't NEED baby food right now. So just give him what he likes. If you find in a month or two that he still won't eat his veggies, mix them with something he does like. That's what I've been doing now that my son's older & can be a pain with his veggies. As for some suggestions he may like: bananas, pears, & green beans if he likes peas. Theres so much to choose from & baby food is so cheap, just keep trying things.

8 months is still a bit too young for dairy. Hold off on dairy for another 4 months or so.

He may be allergic... But contrary to what one person said... they say hold off MILK until 1 yr, not all dairy. They can eat cheese. anyway, talk to his doctor...I suggest making an appointment right away!

He may be allergic to dairy or be lactose intolerant, if it's only happening with dairy. I would call your doctor and get it checked out.

Why do you add these items to his food? Babies don't need the extra fat and calories of those sorts of things. You want to make a list of these foods and address it with the pediatrician.

Possibly allergic, that is usually why they suggest no dairy until a year old

i would talk to your Dr, he may be allergic. He really shouldn't have any dairy or cows milk till one year of age.
