Seal is the original singer of that song. "Kiss From a Rose" was featured on the soundtrack to Batman Forever.

That was Seal...Jack Black was singing Seal's version of Kiss From A Rose.
Seal said it was the best rendition he'd ever heard!

Yeah I remember that white bald guy getting all excited holding a rose and crying. Its was a spoof of that girl crying for Sanjaya. That was funny. I don't know who he was, I just assumed it was just a member of the audience.
