I think so. Most of todays singers and actors arent as half as good as the performers when I was young in my opinion.To me its more about being popular than really about talent.True you have a few diamonds in the rough here and there in today's entertainment world. But a lot dont beat the tried and true.Please dont recomend movies for me to see or some singer to listen to, just tell me if you agree or not and explain why you agree or not.Please no name dropping of celebs either.

It seems to be whoever can blow out the most hot air and be the worst role model for children and teens. The lack of talent is due to mainly teens, and even adults, who have short attention spans due to laziness and other means I will not go into. I mean listen to the music nowadays. It is all the same thing being repeated over and over and it is all very popular now. All chorus lines and barely any verses. The movies is nothing but violence and sex with minimal to no acting. Only few decent actors out there anymore but rarely see them around anymore, or they went the route of what I said above. Ah well, at least there are some that have their own mind outside what a celebrity who has no knowledge except that of reading lines written by another to tell the public. If people would rather listen to a celebrity due to laziness instead of researching or educating themselves let them go down the stupid route and hit a brick wall.

Unfortunately I think it's true. There is one actor right now, who can play any role, from a kid in an adults body, to a mentally challenged person, to an astronaut with such great finesse, you believe him in EVERY role. Plus, this person does more OUT of the spotlight than in. I think that shows real class. I'm afraid that there isn't much class out there anymore, it's mostly "splash and flash".
