For the Chillenden murders of the Russells?
When there is not a scrap of dna evidence or any evidence except the circumstantial evidence of a fellow inmate and the flights of ideas of a Jewish psychiatrist.
And while it is all very sad, if he could,nt have been hanged, why is he serving 3 life terms?

Michael Stone, the terrorist, was convicted of killing three people at Milltown and three others in the 1980's. Sure and he should have been hung, but got out of prison due to GFA.
Recently the loser tried to kill Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness at Stormont, though now he claims it was 'performance art'.

Unfortunately, he won't hang, but will hopefully get to spend the rest of his days painting in prison.

This is what came up..........

2000: Loyalist killer Michael Stone freed from Maze
Loyalist paramilitary hitman Michael Stone has been released from the Maze prison in Northern Ireland.
He was given a 684-year sentence in 1989 for six murders and five attempted murders, but has been set free as part of the Good Friday peace agreement.

Stone, 45, became a leader of the largest loyalist paramilitary group in the Maze - the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) - and a hero for the loyalist cause outside

To the answer........

I think we should bring back the death penalty BUT BUT BUT!!!! Only if there its without a shadow of a doubt that the person has done it!!

Its a very hard thing to decide tho!!

Yes, the odd miscarriage of justice is a small price to pay against the benefits society would gain from the reduced drop in murder victims that having a death penalty would bring.

Death sentances are fine if a) you can 100% guarentee the judicial process and b) 100% guarentee the verdict and c) everybody knows the penalty for their respective crimes.

So in the case you articulate, then probably not.

No,and people like him shouldn't be hanged.

What the public are asking for is the death sentence for people like Ian Huntley, where there is not a shadow of a doubt(because of DNA) that he is innocent.

no. without cast iron evidence definitely no!!!!! and for people where we know they are guilty like ian huntley. no again because it puts them out of their misery. make them live and suffer for as long as possible. make their lives a torment ,make them pay for the crime . dont release them by death
