I am pretty nice but I just want to help out a lot more than I do in school. So can you tell me how to be more helpful to others?

The little things go a long way.
Saying sir and maam to those older than you,
holding the door for people,
helping someone whose arms are full,
letting someone ahead of you at the checkout line, and
smile, smile smile!

First of all, body language speaks volumes. Make sure you're smiling as you walk down the hallway, not spooky evil grin, just a light smile. Also, grab a door occasionally for someone, pick up a piece of paper that someone drops. The little things are remembered more than you think.

If you know/overhear that someone needs something, offer it before they ask. Ex: a pencil.

Your teachers will appreciate it whenever you speak up in class, and other students will probably be inclined to ask you for help.

Great question!

A lot of women suffer from static cling. You should offer to lift their skirts.

A lot of cats get stuck in trees. You should always carry a chainsaw in your trunk. A tarp and rope, too.
