You cannot get conversations like that on places like here or sports message boards because there are too many trolls who think it is a forum to talk trash instead of discussing different topics. Everytime there is an actual good conversation there is always a troll for some team who all they can say is you suck or your team sucks or some other lame comment.
I would rather have a meaningful debate and discuss view but people just come on here to talk trash too much or thumbs down someone who they disagree with instead of the people who shoud get thumbs down, the people just sayingyou suck.
I am sure you wll get rude comments for posting this but I applaud you point and agree 100%.

Where are your facts to support your accusation? The reality is, sports fans in general, not just baseball, depend on information heard by the media. None of us are in the locker rooms of these teams so none of us really know what the truth is. I won't disagree that message boards, etc. are breeding grounds for moronic opinions, most of which are just there to ignite arguments.
