my dad is getting remarried on Friday, and the lady has 7 kids (5 boys and 2 girls). my dad also has 7 kids (4 boys, 3 girls), so there are going to be 14 of us kids altogether. anyhoo, what should i refer to her kids as: my sister got this cool new shirt, or my step sister got this cool new shirt. my brother is a good skateboarder, or my step brother is a good skateboarder. see my problem/ i personally would find it confusing trying to keep who's who straight all the time, but what do you think?

i think it depends on what YOU consider them...do you feel like you're close enough to them to call them your brothers/sisters or do you think you're just step brothers / step sisters. it all depends on what you think of them as... what do they call you? their sister or their step sister?

Depends on if you like them or not.
