I have heard it called the witching hour, some babies just get fussy at the same time every night. Usually in the evenig.
"Baby wearing is especially helpful during the witching hour -- the end of the day, when kids of all ages are prone to fussiness and meltdowns. "

Sounds like your baby has colic. My son also had colic. He would cry at night. And nothing I did would console him. Colic is not an illness. It wont have long term effects on your baby. It hurts the parent more than it hurts the child. Just hold your baby and love on your baby. Swaddle your baby, holding them close to you making a SHhhing sound in his or her ear. Dont hesitate to sit the baby down if you need a breather. Having a colicky baby can be VERY fustrating. Have your husband, grandmother, any family take turns or help you with your baby. Dont worry it WONT last forever. I know every night seems like an eternity with a screaming infant. But colic seems to subside around 3 months. My son stoped screaming every night around 2 1/2 months. He was like a completely different baby at 2 1/2 months. He became a happy bubbly infant. So know that 'this to shall pass'. Just give your little one lots of love and attention and before you know it the colic will be a thing of the past. Look up COLIC online. Theres many sites that give you alot of info about it. Take care and God bless.

Its either time for more food, colic, or there is something happening at that time that wakes the baby up. If you live in an apartment building, try listening to the noises of the building for a couple of nights and see if someone is getting home or leaving for work at that time, maybe their alarm goes off then and the baby hears it. Is that the time that you shut off the TV and go to bed? The baby may be a light sleeper and need noise. My son is a light sleeper and we have to play a radio quietly for him at night or he will wake up at every little noise, the cat jumping, a car going by, my husband coughing, the toilet flushing, everything. Our older son would sleep through WWIII in his bedroom, but that younger one cannot sleep through any noise at all. Good luck, you may never know why but I promise that the baby will not keep crying at the same time when he/she is 15.

You're baby is most likely crying because he/she has realized that you come every time this crying starts... I had the same problem with my preemie daughter... I had to change her factors around.. By that I mean her formula.. So I put her on Soy (doctors helped of course) and I breastfeed her also at night mainly.. I also had to get her on another schedule.. Plus when she hit the 3 1/2 month mark most of the problems went away..
